Data Studio has long been the standard desktop interface for Db2 for z/OS (alongside traditional ISPF). But with Data Studio support for Db2 for z/OS ceasing in March 2025 what is replacing it?
This session will look at the 2 (free) products that are replacing Data Studio - Db2 Admin Foundation, and the Db2 for zOS Developer Extension for VSCode. We will look at the prereqs for the solution's, discuss the personas that each is targeted at, and look at the functionality available in each product.
If technology is on my side I will also attempt to do a live demo.
